The First Judgment
Revelation 6:1-2 (AKJV) And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given to him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
The Seal Judgments
B1 Are the first set of judgments upon earth. These judgments are God’s wrath.
B2 In Revelation 4, the Apostle John sees a vision of the risen Jesus.
B3 In Revelation 5, John is shown a scroll. This scroll has 7 seals on it preventing all but only the qualified person to open these seals. There is an announcement, “Who is qualified to open this scroll?” There was no one who could open it and (read) it. [What were the qualifications? 1) Jesus is the Messiah by being a volunteer, sinless, and God so as to be the Passover Lame (1 Corinthians 5:7). 2) He was chosen by God (the Trinity).] One of the elders tells John not to weep for there is one who is qualified—The Lamb. This lamb is a symbol of Jesus as the qualified person (1 Corinthians 5:7 and the type found in Genesis 22 and elsewhere). He is sinless, did His Father’s will flawlessly, died, buried, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven to sit at the Father’s right hand. Jesus took the offered scroll from His Father (God the Father) and was worshipped. His worship is not a narcissistic command; it is the resulting action of those who are redeemed by the blood of our Passover Lamb and all His ministry. He is truly worthy (Revelation 5:12).

-
The antiChrist
-
Peace taken from the whole earth and its people
-
Famine and food scarcity
-
Death
-
God’s vengeance upon the murderers of the Tribulation saints
-
The great earthquake and astronomical signs
-
The progress to the seven trumpet judgments (Revelation 8:1-6)
The first seal
B1 Though this is often interpreted to be Jesus Christ, it is most definitely not.
C1 Most of those interpreting this verse seem to focus on the white horse (referencing to Zechariah 6:6 and Revelation 19:11). Because Jesus comes on a white horse (Revelation 19:11), they assume it must be Jesus conquering the world through the Gospel. Jesus’s coming (Revelation 19:11), however, is not until the end of the Tribulation.
C2 The seals are judgments expressing God’s wrath.
C3 The first seal is the beginning of God’s wrath, not the finishing of God’s wrath, which is in Revelation 19:11-21 and Zechariah 14.
C4 This man on the white horse is conquering the world. Compare Revelation 13:1-10.
C5 He has but one crown which was given him. Jesus has many crowns (Revelation 19:12).
C6 The rider of the white horse is coming conquering and to conquer. Jesus comes for judgment against the antiChrist, his army, and followers (Revelation 19:11-21 and Matthew 24:30).
C7 Jesus is seen opening the seals.
C8 The description of the rider is different than the description of the Lord Jesus (Revelation 19:15-16).
C9 The mission and actions are different. Jesus speaks and judgment is affected (Revelation 19:17-21). He doesn’t ride around conquering and to conquer.

C1 The antiChrist
C2 Conquering the whole world (Revelation 13:1-10)

B3 How is this possible?
C1 God permits it. God does not decree this.
C2 The antiChrist is inspired by satan.
C3 The antiChrist is an imitator of the only Messiah—Jesus.*

We learn:
B1 We must repent and believe the Gospel.
B2 God has wrath against the sin, evil, and prince of this world (satan).
B3 The judgments of God’s wrath during the 7 year Tribulation is massive.
B4 God is being patient at this very time for people to repent and believe the Gospel.
B5 The antiChrist is satan’s false messiah who rules the world for a few brief years.
B6 His followers will go to the Lake of Fire.
